Maybe we are trying to get frequent paddler points to use towards gifts from the outdoor shops... heh heh...

This is the Thanksgiving / Birthday solo canoe trip I do every year. Over the last few years a couple extra people have tagged along and this year Markus & Mike B have decided to follow me to Maple lake. I guess 'follow' is not the correct word this year as they are headed up today and I am headed up tomorrow.

I will be paddling in the cold October rain and arrive at a campsite that is already tarped up and wood collected and a fire going. All I have to do is set up my tent and all will be well with the world for 4 days. The only thing that could make this trip easier is if I hired a Sherpa... hahaha...

Definately a great plan... ( especially arriving at a tarped site!)
He might even have a steak ready


Never been disappointed meeting Markus and partner/friend/whoever
is with him in the park.

P.S. Markus nows the secret " by the way " to never faiuls bringing a shine
to any late night campfire meeting if my memory serves me right (
