Whitefish Lake Pow wow

This is a small pow wow, for the members of Golden Lake, held under the cliffs of WHitefish Lake and the Centennial Ridges hiking trail. I found it to be kind of an odd cross between the more commercial pow wows, like the one at Wiki, and the family gathering types of the bands further north, where they are a social event with no paid dancers or drummers.

The Pow wow grounds are just another aspect of the many ways Algonquin Park serves many different communites.
