I would like to find a new home for my PAM28A.
The Panerai PAM 28A is one of only 200 A series PVD Power Reserve watches made. This watch has been in my personal collection for many years the finish is completely original!!! The watch has a couple of scratches and is very nicely (I like it) faded at the side of the case. I have tried to capture all of this to the best of my photo skills so that there are no surprises.
It has a complete Panerai Service (with Guarantee!, so no risk or surprises). The service was done by Chatel in Carmel (authorized Panerai service dealer). The watch has a complete NOS!!!!! set of Tritium hands, which are almost "impossible" to find nowadays (and cost and arm and a leg + a kidney

)! The "new" hands match perfectly the vanilla tone of the markers.
I decided NOT to do a PVD recoating by Panerai because it ruins the look of the watch (IMHO). These 28A have a "gunmetal" colour PVD, they are not black. A recoating (even done by Panerai) will look like the PVD seen on the 195, which is deep black. Of course if you like a "new" look for your watches you can have Panerai recoat it and have a virtually new watch.
No original box and papers.
No A-series two screw pvd thumbnail buckle (I believe this buckle is original, but there are people here with far more knowledge than me, and they believe a 28A should have a two screw buckle, so I want to make you aware of this.)
No original straps.
Watch is here shown with an OEM blue croc strap, I have several Panerai straps, so if you like a different colour or leather I will change it for you.
Available for inspection in Los Angeles. I would prefer a face to face deal.
I have good references in the Rolex and Paneria community.
Price: $17,500 USD.
Only trade I would consider is a PAM 289.
