I have an excellent condition (96%+ condition)PAM 177H for your consideration today.

The watch comes with all inner and outer boxes. It also includes the dealer stamped warranty card, all book, and polishing coth. The watch keeps excellent time and is well within standards. It will also come with the most stunning OEM brown strap and OEM buckle. Also, it will include the OEM rubber strap and an aftermarket Ti tumbnail buckle and OEM screwdriver. I will also include the leather strap as pictured in the newspaper shot. A 4th OEM style tan strap 24/22 with one extra hole punched will be included as well. 4 straps total. The case and crystal are scratch free.

I'm looking for a safe hassle free transaction from a fellow watch lover with good standing in the community to keep us both safe. This watch is being re-listed. I had a buyer for a face to face deal but it fell through.

I'm looking for $3900 shipped. PayPal can be accepeted if you have a verified PP account and verified shipping address. I will ship via registered main USPS wihtin the lower 48 states. No trade offers please. While I have not sold many watches recently, I should be able to provide a few references regarding my prior sales here or at TZ and watchuseek.

To be clear.

You met his asking price and he didn't sell it to you? Or you made an offer and someone met his asking price?

First option would suggest that if you made a low-bid, if someone equaled it, your low bid would be the first accepted. Yet if someone agreed to pay the asking price, a "first option" on a low bid is immediately negated yeah?

I want to be clear. It seems that peoples reputations are the currency of these boards. Making a accusation out of frustration that someone didn't accept what proved to be an insufficient offer, seems a puerile response.

Respectfully,
Christopher

We agreed on a price $100 lower than asking price. I was in a situation where the cash (bankroll) was currently being used to make more money. I asked for first option to buy. He argeed. I was later informed that he accepted an offer for the full price. I was never given the option to buy at the agreed price or meet the full price. I was told he would let me know if it fell through.

Thanks for the explication

Ken,

I appreciate you taking the time.

Please know that I was not egging you on. I did reference checks on this seller, and they all came up impeccable.

It sounds like there was a difference of understanding what "first option" meant. It sounds like you had first option for $100 below asking. First full price got it. That was me, I bought the watch through a friend who acted as my agent so the seller actually doesn't even know my name.

Much like at a big stakes poker table, your name is what gets you a seat just to be in the game. The same holds true on these forums for people who enjoy watches.

Demeaning a member because you bluffed and got called...

I would reach across the table and shake hands as I walked away.

Regards,
Christopher

Understood

I would have paid the agreed price or even the asking price the seller knew I was just looking for some time. I was told on two occasions he was not in a hurry. He wasn't even on the market until I reached out to him to ask if he still had watch and wanted to sell it. By asking for first option I was basically asking for the deadline. That being if you don't want it this guy does.

Congratualations on the watch and the win. There are more PAM's to be had.
If you consider selling it let me know.

Ken
