Different watches, this is scam

August 2 2012, 10:34 PM

all signs are here - different watches, an "M" series with wrong booklets, even the warranty card dated 2007 !!; story of nephew or whatever else that actually owns the watch, no accepting Paypal and so on

don't like to bash other's ads, but this it too much already

Also, the tan strap in the last couple of photos...

August 2 2012, 10:34 PM

are not the OEM strap as shown in the first few photos.

And the strap shown in the last couple of photos appears to have "PANERAI" stamped into the underside. That strap is clearly not OEM.

And the serial number on the caseback does not have the same bold font as a genuine M-series serial number.

The crown guard lever tip shown in the photo of the caseback is not OEM, either; the tip is too pointy/thin to be OEM.

And the photo with the box/papers/watch appears to have a DLC'd 005 in the box.

And why in one photo is the caseback sticker shown, but in the photo with the M-serial number hidden is the caseback sticker not there?

Methinks this is a sales post from a scammer.

Inv. control stickers..

In the 3rd photo of the posting the set shows square, pre-J series style stickers, but in the last photo pictured is an updated elongated 'movement' sticker set??

Red flags all over the place. Rubber strap in pic but not mentioned in post. Seems like a big detail to leave out. Lastly no response from seller. Seems odd.

If it walks and quacks like a duck...well then there you go.

Why don't we call this what it is? It is a scammer trying to sell a fake watch. Using pictures of at least 3 different watches and at least one of these watches in the pictures is a fake! It is probably the one you will get when you buy it.

All the rest is fishy too, it stinks.

PIC #2 and #7 are from 9mailali.com (link to pichttp://www.9maiali.com/shopping/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1930),
PIC #1 is from watchuseek.com (link to pic:http://forums.watchuseek.com/f75/help-please-authentic-replica-pam-005-a-659749.html),
PIC #3 is from watchuwant.com (link to pic:http://www.watchuwant.com/watches/panerai-pam-005-g-marina-44mm-black-dlcpvd-coated-stainless-steel-historic),
PIC #4,5,6 are probably from his WTB post and they were stole from a seller.
