I got this watch on a trade from a fellow risti about 2 month ago, but not bonding with it for some reason, so here it goes:
This is the original 'La Bomba' also known as "the tuna can". The PAM 64 1000m Submersible is the first 1000m Submersible made for C series (2000-2001 production year) and since its one time release there has never been another watch like it.
What makes this watch so unique:
This is a Special Edition watch. It means that it was made in a one time production of only 500 individually numbered pieces for 'C' series
Features black tritium dial with silver seconds sub-dial at 9:00. This is the only 1000m Submersible ever made with black dial and contrasting silver seconds dial. Let's talk about the patina - just look at the pictures. Amazing creamy color and very much intact!
Condition: amazingly good for the watch that is over 10 years old. No dings or significant scratches anywhere that I can see. I would rate the overall condition (not age adjusted) at about 93-95%.Rubber strap appears to be worn a bit, but has plenty of life left in it.
What is included: PAM64C on the rubber strap with thumbnail buckle, black cardboard outer box, large SE pear wood box, scroll, box key, 2 booklets, SE scroll, COSC and warranty card.
What is not included: Outer cardboard box and polishing cloth. I never got them from the previous owner...
Price: $9000.00 NET. Shipping and PayPal fees on the buyer. I accept wire transfers, PayPal (+ FEE) and of course cash in-person.
Interested in trades - up or down. Let me know what you have. Trade value is a bit higher.
I'm located in NY and able to do FTF deal in tri-state area. I have been a collector for over 30 years and have many references - just ask.
