The PAM 399 Radiomir 1940 Acciao 47mm is simply gorgeous. I see the 399 as almost a formal dress watch it is that stunning. This watch can be dressed up with a tapered alligator strap or dressed down with an Ammo and look amazing both ways. Being the original introduction into the historic 1940 case Panerai set out to make this release special by using a beautiful 18-jewel hand wound Minerva movement, which can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back. This watch was limited to just 100 pieces however 50 of them were sold in sets with the PAM 398 therefore only 50 remained as individual pieces, making the 399 quite rare. This example is in excellent condition and complete, the original strap showing almost no wear, this watch was a true safe queen. What makes this particular example so special and gives the next potential owner a unique opportunity is the very special number which is the last of the series! I have been collecting and following Panerai for a decade and I have never owned and seldom seen a watch with such a special number, let alone a desirable special edition being offered for sale. These numbers are requested by and reserved specifically for VIP clients, therefore it is very exciting for me to offer this watch on the forum.

Price: $26,500

The quintessential Panerai tool watch with that true vintage charm we all love makes the PAM 9A one of the nicest PVD watches ever produced. Retaining the original dark pencil lead grey coating, in excellent condition, along with beautifully contrasting tritium dial. As stated in the title this example is a true collectors set with original A series box, outer black box, original 2-screw PVD buckle, black rubberized calf, screwdriver, manual, libretto, stamped warranty card from 1999 and ultra rare loose movement sticker. If you've been looking for a 9A, an early T-Dial or just a PVD Panerai, I think it would would be difficult to find a nicer and more honest watch, especially at this price point. One look at the condition of the case and vivid yellow patina and its hard to not fall in love with this piece.

Interested in trade?

Hi Kevin, would you be interested in trading the 399 for a mint 262 platinum with original Panerai strap and sewed in SS buckle? The watch has boxes, paperwork and stamped but un-named and un-dated warranty card.
