Shilling is any activity on the Public Forum that can be construed as promoting commercial ventures. Some examples; links to other websites or auctions, giveaways of items that the poster makes or sells, posts or replies made with the intention of bringing attention to items that are for sale or to a commercial enterprise. If you think your post might be perceived as a shill, it probably is. Any post that the moderators determine to be a shill will be deleted without prior notice, individuals who repeatedly disregard this policy will be subject to loss of posting privileges.

The owners and moderators of Paneristi.com would like to make it clear that using pictures or intellectual property of others without their permission or awareness and then discussing them in such a way that could discredit or affect market value is an abuse on the good intentions of the public forum. For that reason, a poster who has a track record of misleading the public will no longer be considered welcome, nor trustworthy, especially if the abuses are committed by a known dealer. It is in the public interest that if this occurs the poster will lose his posting priveleges for a period of time to be determined by the owners and moderators of Paneristi.com. Posts about Panerai fakes are not allowed (that includes homages, copies, project watches etc.)

We also ask that in general, all members post with appropriate decorum and respect to the opinions and sensitivities of other members. While this translates to using common sense for most of us, it's not so obvious for others, therefore Paneristi and its moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any post not in keeping with forum guidelines at their discretion. The use of profanities, be they implied or stated in full, lewd or potentially offensive images or text will be subject to editing or deletion by the moderators at their discretion. While we encourage open discussions, due to the non-commercial nature of this forum, the moderating staff do ask that discussions or requests regarding specific dealers, deals, pricing/discount information, referrals, other web sites and the like are conducted by email.
