Geeday Mates from the Land Down Under

I have just returned home from what I can only call My World Paneristi Tour

What a RUSH it was ,of that there can be NO Doubt , I prepared a small summary for an email to a mate of mine

Departing home it took me some 2+ days to get to Europe then 4 days of PDay Festivities , followed by 3600km in a car to Italy and return in 3 days with the BEST Maatjes , Can you Imagine , A Belgium Bugger , An Israeli Bijo & An Aussie Digger ,driving in a Swedish Car through Europe , An Accident waiting to happen imho Stopping at The Spiritual HOME of Panerai ,, Firenze to collect A USA Kool Cat & A Canadian Wild Man so now we have A Belgium Bugger , An Israeli Bijo , An Aussie Digger , A USA Kool Cat & A Canadian Wild Man , Driving in a Swedish Car through Italy , An Accident ABOUT to happen imho Onwards we pushed in 18 hours we saw Portofino (Stunning Paradise) , Chapel (RIP Mates) & Boutique (A Treasure) , La Spezia (still pinching myself) , Ferretti Watches (Magic) , Firenze Boutique (The Source) , Panerai Museum (The Passion) , The Wildest Villa you could ever dream of (Merci) in the Hills of Tuscany & Firenze (Nirvana) with homeward stops again at FrankenFurter , forward in the wee hours to the Home of Panerex , and onto Bruges , Then a train trip to Antwerp to meet up with the Belgium Crew for what was a Gr8 Time U Bet , followed by 2 days of Meets and Greetz , Breakfast with my AD and his Family , then a Trip for 1 day to London for a night with some of the U.K. Mods and Guy , only to get up at 06:00 for a 3 day trip home with a 13 hour stop over in Singapore before landing , some 30,000km's in 12 days , I am a tired and shattered man , but >>> A HAPPY ONE , Best time of my Life

Still I will say it only once ,, LOL >> So MUCH More than just a Watch

Excuse me for being short at the present but will take me a month of Sundays to recover and then 6 days from Friday to get caught up and I am leaving again in 2 days for at least a week , Upon my return will be spending some passionate time to compile a report with Pic's

So important to share my Trip of Dreams with my Mates , Surely the Wife not so interested , lol ...

So MANY Moments , I Shale NEVER Forget , So MANY Special Mates , So MUCH More than just a watch

You know I was mailing with Covac's (Mate U Rock , hope you don't mind the copy and paste ) Yesterday about that , and thought to share something I realized at about 03:00 Sunday Night

If its any consolation....I feel exactly the same as you ........what happens is ........you get in your comfort zone (as I did with the UK/DK crew )....you think you,ve got all the time in the world to circulate.....but because your having so much fun in the proccess.....the time goes by super frigging quick.......and b4 you know it......it,s 4.00 in the morning .....the bar tenders saying "No More drinks guys " and your in your in your hotel room cruising the porn channels!!!

But that was what happened to me , one thing that stuck at me was as you can imagine DU the only way I get to see a Vintage or PV Panerai Post V is to buy it , so needless to say I have only seen pittance , I knew that at PDay would be more watches than a crazy aussie watchman could dream of and that was always on my mind , heading there I thought of it and dreamed on ,, to see all these watches.

It was at 03:00 Sunday morning when I realized I had NOT REALLY looked at one of my Brothers Paneristi's Watches , WTF ((

I guess the people were more important to me than the watches as it turns out , funny really !!

That is So TRUE , So Much More than Just a Watch
