i have a 6&1/2 wrist too.
but i tried on my beloved big pilot (46.2mm)at a dealer recently, and surprisingly it doesn't look too big,(due to the BP lugs that i think they're shorter than the 127,also the protecting crown piece that makes the watch very large over all) .
in another word you don't want to lugs to hang off the side of your wrist,then the watch is not for you.(i could be wrong)
