Hi there,

today, a few Belgian collectors were invited by their dealers to have the privilege to go on board
at one of the world's most beautiful marine vessels; the Amerigo Vespucci.
Not only a free walk but a guided tour presented by one of the spokesmen of the ship.

First looks of the boat are very impressive. So beautiful with it's black & wite stripes.
Lot's of people arround the ship. A true attraction at the Antwerp port.

A terrific event organised by Hans Dekkers, brand manager for Panerai Scandinavia & Benelux.
Meeting point was at a nearby restaurant where refreshments were served...

Time to go aboard. Marine guards to protect the ship and it's content.

Some random pictures of the ship...

After some more refreshments on board it was time to start our guided tour.
Speaker was an italian commander officer.

Time to go on deck!

Some more random pictures

The officers rooms. Full of naval insignes. Just awesome

After a terrific one and a half hour tour it was time to go back on land.
But Panerai had more to come. A nice walking dinner, some cool prototypes and some inside info

Hot news >> a new prototype strap. Looks fantastic. Based upon the design of the boat called riva.
Already start calling your dealers for when they arrive!

1938 prototype

They still haven't decided wether they will make it with a clear back or steel back...

Collectors having a good time

All attendants had the honour to receive a Panerai goodiebag containing a beautiful book about the Amerigo Vespucci.
Stunned as I opened my copy to find out the captain had signed each one of them.

I again want to thank Panerai and it's belgian dealers for inviting
some paneristi on board and giving us a great day.

But that's not it. Thanks to Hans Dekkers, I can offer another signed copy of the book of the Amerigo Vespucci.
All you have to do to get this awesome 156 page book is post a reply onto this original topic.
A by pc randomly picked winner will be anounced within 48 hours.

So get your chance!

Viva Paneristi!
