Hi all,

will continue with the final part of my personal P-DAY report
from Hamburg last weekend:

These two belgian gentlemens were with us on board, Polleke and Patrick.
Thanks Polleke for the great gesture with the leather bands!

The sun went down and it was a nice atmosphere while passing the
old storage channels in the Hamburg harbour:

We went off the ship soon later and walked a short way to our next stay:
The brewery Groeninger:

Daniel: "Tom, do you really want me to get in there???"

Danish, italian and swiss P-DAY members:

Inside the huge brewery cellar we found a nice corner for all of us:

We organized a "food and drink flat rate" for each member, here Jacopo enters the dinner buffet:

This was the only one of it's kind for the whole weekend:

Now, Spanferkel - get your rear into gear! LOL

Yum yum! Tom and Martin were working hard on that...

Each table had it's own beer barrel with self service:

International table: Davie Lee "90210", Eng Tay from NYC, "The Lonan Ranger" himself from the Isle of Man / UK, Eric from Hong Kong, Oliver, his kind wife Heike and another Oliver.

Dirk Grandry, John Backus, Simona di Stefano, Scoopster, Jay Pulli, Frank from DU and Asi from Israel - thumbs up, mates - thank you for joining us!

Another part of the cellar, I spot Marco, Umberto, Mirko, Piero and some of our dutch members:

Toby, Thorsten and Catalin:

The "flipper's newest toy" (for how long???) - a huge pink gold perpetual!

Flashy moment: Me and Frank from DU - mate, really a pleasure to meet you!

Thorsten and John having serious talks...

Graham, on the table with Haagen, Guilliermo, Stephan and Oliver - cheers!

After a delicious dinner it was about time to present the new Asshat 2007:
Andy Hunt, sadly not with us, became the new Asshat - so the title stays in the UK for one more year Well done, Andy - Pre-Vendome was not in 1973!

To the total surprise of the audience we had another "winner" that night:
For doing an incredible "flipping performance", Paul had a nice surprise for our mate Patrick:

The new, yet unreleased blue ceramic wall clock, special flipper edition:

Sometimes pictures say more than many words - LOL!!!

"You are all dead!"

We noticed that the british P-DAY members were not with us. They choosed
to spend the night at another place to see the rugby final game - here is their car:

Later we returned back to the hotel, others were heading towards St. Pauli, having a "fecking good time", from what we heard the other day

The former Asshat's big smile of the night:

"The day after"... Loris and Dirk

Clif, Graham, Asi, Frank and Ron chillin' in the lobby:

It was time to say "Auf Wiedersehen!"

"...but, hey! See you next year at P-DAY7!"

I'd like to say some words of thanks to the mates who
organized this year's P-DAY with me. Special thanks to
Ralf, our local mate, who found very nice places for
our group. Also my thanks to Thorsten, Tom and Frank!

Of course I rise my hat for all members, travelling to
Hamburg and being with us at one place. It makes the "virtual community"
becomes "real" and once again, aliases became faces!

Cheers,
Volker
