My wife and I had Lasik done about a year ago and it was money worth spent. She wore glasses then contacts for over 20 years and could not believe how much of her everyday life has changed without having to deal with glasses. I run and bike alot and used to wear contacts. After 4 hours of riding, I would come home with red irritated eyes. I would almost have to scrape the contacts off my eyes because they were so dry. Not anymore! We laugh and say we gave each other the "gift of sight".
