The following array mostly of Ferretti's and some mine:
First straps and buckle made for the Marina Miltare in the 1940's
Strap used for the compass, depth gauge and the 2/56 - 1950's
The particular construction of the Panerai straps
Second series of straps/buckles used for the Marina Militare 40's-50's
First series buckle used for Italian and German Panerais
Buckle used for compass and depth gauge in the 1970's-80's
Hope this post helps a little, thanks again to Sig. Ferretti.
