evening all, hope you are all well and those lucky lads and lasses attending the NYC gtg get home safe and well, the posts so far look like it was a cracking do...
quick post of a more regular or "mundane" gtg with my humble pam collection and some strap changes...
i got my first pam in 2008, a 240 which i loved, followed by a 190, then i got an 005 earlier this year for a pvd project. i liked it so much that i decided forget the pvd. i had historically been a fan of the 249 but when i saw one and tried one on back in 2007, i just didnt get it. pretty strange then that i let my 240 go in order to trade up to a bnib 249 this summer. i now love this watch, it was around the same time as the "249 groundswell", remember, the martin pics of his new piece etc amongst many others getting back into the 249's.
i had already done my deal but had to wonder if there was some worldwide 249 subliminal love going on....? didnt get chance to post at the time i got it so i'm catching up now..
anyways, heres a few pics to show some strap swaps i did this w/e and i'm pretty pleased with how my trio sit. hope you enjoy...
before pic, had a bit of colour on the 5 as its grey and dark here in london, the bruno diver on the 249 and an oem dark brown gator on the 190
now the bruno is great on the 249 but i really think it is sweet on the 190, it just pops the gold hands, so i'm 'recycling' the bruno...
so here's what we are working with....
blue sharky sizing up the 5'er. my first sharky strap, an ODE to Eddie Sanchez??
black calf with plenty of tail sizing up the cali..
a dreaded DOUBLE rad strap change ;-o heavy screwdriver admin!!
halfway there, no cases scratched up yet! (sorry for shadowy pic)
here they are, all changed safe and sound.....some wrist shots...
thanks for looking , after all that hard work i need a nice pot of `yorkshire tea'....now wheres my missus gone??
have a good week
