Hi all,
I'll continue my report of the 10th Club Panerai meeting last weekend with the activities of friday.
"umbrella time" - early morning after the breakfast.
Weather was not very nice:
rain shower...

Asi decided to visit Ferretti's shop in Montecatini, about 45 min. car drive from Viareggio. Donnie, Kathy plus me as "shotgun"

arrived and got a
vintage shower from Ferretti junior on the table.
Some display impressions.
After we had an Espress in a coffeshop around the corner, Ferretti senior arrived and showed us his future shop / museum which is under construction.
It's a nice historic building in the center of Montecatini...
...which looks quite nice already from the outside. And the sun came back too...!

After a tasty lunch (thanks for the invitation, Francesco!) we returned at the hotel. More guests were fleeding in'...
Eric from Hong Kong and Eng from NYC drooling over two 3646 / Type C watches... i just wonder who of them had the accurate time...?

Glad to see that "old red beast" again, Eric! Stunner!!!!
John Sim, "official wine expert of the meeting" during the warm up. (LOL)
Took a short walk and found a nice little watch shop. Old Rolex ads on the wall, and you bet - some serious proof of Panerai's relationship with Rolex spotted!
I returned to the new pier and spotted some "Mare Nostrum surfers" in the afternoon, which were on the hunt for a good wave.
Watch talks still "on" when arrived back at the hotel.
Eng and Ralf checking the case shape of Eng's 6152.
Mr. 90210 himself... - Dunnerkeil!!!
He came late because he lost his passport, but still "in time" for warm up.
During the whole evening we heard several versions of that "I lost my passport" story. Nice!

Below was a part of the funniest version (LMAO!)
So, lucky you, 90210 - just keep that one in the backhand and you get access everywhere!

Nearly complete?
Lars "Danish Dynamite" arrived as well so we were ready to go for having dinner at the seaside promenade in Viareggio...
...and there we go!
Great food and drinks. Simmy tasting another red wine

Group shot before we returned to the hotel.
Luckily the bar was still open and it became one of the longest nights ever during a Club Panerai Meeting...
...or was it
the loudest night ever?

Thanks for looking. Part 3 will follow soon.
