Hi all,
returned back home well after a fantastic weekend in Viareggio/Italy.
The XI Meeting Club Panerai was held in the hotel "Club i Pini" close to the seaside.
Here are some of the early arrivals: Ron aka "The Lonan Ranger", Jens, Clif and me.
Ralf, Heike and Markus enjoy the shadows of the pine trees in the frontyard of the hotel.
...feeling like "at home". Always good to be back at the "Club i Pini" hotel, a great stay since 2003 for me.
I was surprised to see Dirk Grandry from Belgium again...!
He just came back from the seaside promenade with his dog Jeff.
...and the PVD coating of his PreV 203 is STILL perfect. Just stunning!
I went down to the bar and found some serious stuff.
Back in the wonderful frontyard to relax (no, it's not a bottle of Vodka on the table

)
Markus and "the small Ralf" checking some old stuff

- cheers Clif!
Nice round on thursday afternoon. Eric from Hong Kong and Hagen arrived as well.
Serious Panerai collector and great mate: "The Lonan Ranger"
I give some space for a caption here... hehe. Prost, Hagen!

Eric was drooling on Hagen's Milsub.
Took a short walk to the seaside later. Of course we had to stop by at Pizza Conti,
the best Pizza to go in the world. I had a slice of "Melanzane"... mmmmhh!
How about some ice cream?
Decisions, decisions...
I choosed "Pinolata" - Asi, that's one cup for you!

Now off to the pier. Great weather conditions. Bright sun, summer breeze.
A view to the beach of Lido di Camaiore which is right next to Viareggio.
Did some test shooting for the annual wrist shot and catched even the european flag

Yours truly, glad to meet Heike and Ralf from Germany for the first time, Jens, Ron and Ralf ("the big Ralf" that is).
...and there you go with
THE wristshot of the day.
Looking good Ron - congratulations to your 360!!!
Group shot (which knee did I captured on the edge there? LOL)
Time to go back and meet our host Piero at the hotel...
And here you go: "the boss" of Club Panerai. Prost, Hagen!
(BTW... did I mention that these bottles are not Vodka?)
A delicious seafood dinner outside in the garden was closing the first day of the long weekend in Viareggio.
Thanks for looking and stay tuned for part 2
