You can't throw mud without getting your hands dirty...
Just a personal opinion, but this seems to be something that the two of you could have solved as gentlemen, and offline. Based on what I'm reading here, nothing that bad happened or at least nothing bad enough to go public.
Hope the two of you can work it out.
