So I got a call from the NYC Boutique yesterday....

and with great anticipation I cleared out my calendar this morning. At 10am the FedEx guy shows up with a big box...



I rip open the box and find...



Another big box...but the good kind of big box. Can't help myself and open up to find...



A beautiful 390 staring right back at me. Can't wait so I get the watch on my wrist.



After staring at it for 20 minutes I decide to take a family shot...

Obviously a huge thanks go out to the NYC Boutique and Alexander in particular. He's taken my call month after month even when he didn't have good news and I appreciate it. It's a tough position to be in and the boutiques handle it with class. I don't know how a donkey like me gets the pleasure of owning a 417 and a 390 but here I am.

To the folks still waiting...keep the faith. I was told in December and January that no more 390s were coming and yet we heard on this site that some were still trickling out. I'm proof that some are still trickling out. Stay strong.

I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to own a 201/a but this watch comes so damn close. I don't know what else to say. I'm just gonna stare at my watch for a few hours.
