Havent started my own thread for a while but still happy to follow the forum everyday.
As my brother in law is now working in Jakarta, Indonesia, and it was also a summer vacation for my sisters children so my sister asked whether I can make a trip with her to spend few days in Jakarta.
Why not!! Nice city that I was there first time when my sister got marry 14 years ago and now I had a chance to travel with my family back. Above all, I will have a chance to meet my Indoristi fellows there as well. So, let the journey begins...
My two loves enjoying iPhone apps while waiting for our flight
3 hours to arrived and it rained in Jakarta!
Leaving terminal to take rest and prepare for first day tour
We stayed to Shangri-la service apartment that the company rent for my in-law, nice place and good location in town
James, my nephew...stopped by at Starbucks for wake up drink
Then we went up hill to have lunch at Puncak Pass Resort & Restaurant
Traditional musician was welcoming the group
View at the balcony of the restaurant (ignore the UFO there, blame the dust on sensor
It will be nice if you plan to spend few nights here
Me and my better half

And my sister family
Street vendors that we see all day, they are nice and polite
Next stop was the Tea Plantation, but I found something interesting during the way!!
15+ people coming out of the little van
Be ready for long ride
At the Tea Plantation
After an hour stop, we continued our journey to Taman Safari. Taman Safari is one of the leading amusement park in Indonesia which had been successful in the animal conservations. They allowed us to drive through the areas, feed so many animals from the vehicle (except those dangerous ones as lions and tigers)

My niece, Jenny, waiting for the food with the smile on her face
Because dinner place is in the same area where Arif and Irwan live, so both sneaked out from his house and came to meet me, even only 15 minutes. Here is the first m8tes shot before the Indoristis arranged the gathering for me in the next day.
Second day, I believe my wife is ready
But not sure about this little monkey, probably too early start?
The very easily scene on the side of the road - Jockey or Joki.....People who make their living by helping drivers meet the citys three-in-one rule that requires private vehicles to have at least three people to access some major roads during rush hour
Kidzania - The ultimate destination for the second day
'Kidzania' is an educational indoor theme park. This place offers a great role-playing experience for kids. Kids will work like adults, they have their own money and currency, and they can choose any career they like

Arif and Horace, saying Hi
It was my honor and so much fun meeting all of you. Hope to come back and meet you again very soon.
By the way, I really feel like Cinderella as Arif and Irwan tried their best to sent me back to apartment before midnight when his car turned to pumpkin and both of them turned to cute little mice
Back to the family trip on the third day, another for kids at SeaWorld Indonesia
Ready to get in
Having fun with underwater lives
Even with the Piranha
Jenny with Sea Turtles

We decided to call it a day and went back to get rest around 9:30pm, another fun day for kids but still had one more day left for them.
Morning of the last day, all is packed but planed to stop by last shopping mall. Kids were still sleepy I guess
Except Prae, who was walking around and continued to play and have fun with Jenny
Arrived another mall where there was a nice place for kids to adventure
And look how Prae enjoyed the RIDE!
Having lunch before leaving to airport
Traffic as usual
But it is good to see how traffic can create small business on the road as you will always see street vendors during the way
At the airport, there is a special room for smokers
