Response to new moderators, fresh blood = new ideas and pulse

Putting aside that a) this ain't a democracy and b) several new mods were added just recently... it's not the moderators who determine interest, activity or content... it's the users.

Having more mods, voted for by users or not, won't change the content or the passion of the users of this forum, that's up to us.

I've barely posted at all for quite a while, I'm trying to get back to it a bit more. A forum is sort of a living organism, there's ebbs and flows, right now things seem kind of subdued, that will change don't worry. Something will come along to get everyone wound up tight again.

Also I find it humorous that for years one of the complaints people have leveled at this forum is "too many mods" and now that the moderator team has been shaken up is it really now going to become "the forum needs more mods"? Not saying either side is right or wrong, I just find it amusing.
