Riding long distance is very spiritual for me. Being present in the moment, right there in that space and time, is a practice that evokes a spirit deep within. I can't be daydreaming of some place else. I have to be present and aware of what's around me at all times. The sounds, the smells, the environment. The day in and day out practice of being that present is very engaging....spiritual
I'm not like that at home. My wife say's I don't always listen:)haha But on the bike I feel like I'm part of the experience not an observer.
