When it was announced I just had the feeling that I would't wear it that much so I never pursued one.
I do like the watch more now than at first, but maybe that's just the kool aid talking

The thing I don't really understand is the patina "issue" The bronze is supposed to relate back to the nautical roots of the company. But, in my experience ship's crews pride themselves on keeping their ship's brass and bronze bits highly polished and shiny, fighting off patina. So, it would seem to me that letting the watch patina heavily is actually not in keeping with the historical context of the material. Or am I a complete numpty?
