2008 is 5 years in the past. Back then I thought Simona was a guy and wished "him' a happy
birthday like we were old friends. Only later on in the thread when another chap wished "him" everlasting
beauty did I realized my mistake. happy.gif)))))))

Fast forward to 2012 and I found myself with this on the wrist.

And squeezing me on the left AND right were another 2 buddies from Singapore.
[linked image]

Were were flying half way around the world because we heard that croissants were the best there. PARIS!
Well I'm a Chinese noodle kind of guy, what do I know. happy.gif
[linked image]

I swear I took some more shots of that hearty Amercian breakfast but after
5-6 months in the camera memory, this is the only evidence of how great that breakfast was.
Handsome blokes don't you agree? happy.gif))

We went shopping after that. Guys normally don't like shopping but we had to keep
the mrs back home happy, so with shopping list in hand we set off for Galeries Lafayette.

It's over there I tell you! I'm cock sure of it!
[linked image]

Then again maybe not. happy.gif))))))
[linked image]

Truth is I think we spent more time queuing than shopping. sad.gif
[linked image]

We stopped for a late lunch after that. I had my first rabbit here
and I don't think I'll ever have another. sad.gif

As with any overseas trip with ristis, a visit to the boutique is a must.
[linked image]

A beauty back then and a beauty still.
[linked image]

Always a good sign when you see the calculator and charge machine on the table. wink.gif
[linked image]

So with a new time piece in hand we did the next logical thing and went .....
[linked image]

Unfortuantely we walked away empty handed without any new straps, I couldn't even get
in to the overcrowded store. But we comforted ourselves, we live in Asia, there are plenty of
crocs here. happy.gif

That night we had dinner planned with the French crew and a very handsome couple from the States. happy.gif

Patrick explaining to Medeleine the benefits of eating durains.
[linked image]

Patrick on hearing that she actually has it every night before bed. happy.gif)))))))
[linked image]

Sharky and Seb exchanging gifts after signing the croc exchange agreement between France and Singapore. happy.gif
[linked image]

The French crew rock, no doubt!
[linked image]

But the next morning turned out to be a bummer. Rain.....
[linked image]

Empty streets....
[linked image]

My 2 buddies had left a day earlier leaving me behind, so I hunted for
some depression food...
[linked image]

Thankfully the loneliness didn't last long and soon I was on my way
too.
[linked image]

London!
[linked image]

That night I was introduced to Indian food....UK Indian food. :-p
[linked image]

Didn't matter if it was green pea soup I had because I finally bought my grail!
[linked image]

No just kidding there. The lovely 21 belongs to Geoff, thanks for letting me fondle it Geoff.happy.gif
The watch Luke, the watch. Gutter brain you. happy.gif))))))

After that faithfull dinner, things just went from march2 to light speed! happy.gif

I recall getting off the coach here.....
[linked image]

and here.....
[linked image]

Drank some kind of liquid from here...
[linked image]

And saw this poor chap trying to make a speech...not good .....not good. happy.gif)))))
[linked image]

2 days later was the actual Pday dinner. I did not have the chance to take many photos
but there is this partcular one that I did......if only I knew the significance back then!

CHOP I TELL YOU! SELL EVERYTHING!
[linked image]

And get yourself a vintage!happy.gif))))))))
Good luck mon ami!

Well it's been 5 almost 6 months since Pday 12 London. I wish I could do Montreal too
but I know the odds are stacked way against me on that.

I do however take away from Pday 12 extremely fond memories of the friends, places and moments
shared. I'll be back again one day, hopefully Pday 2014! happy.gif

One last photo to mark the occasion...oh what a trip of a lifetime it was.
