Response to Panerai PAM 87

I think it is one of the iconic and most highly collectible submersibles. It sits up on the wrist beautifully as one would expect a "tuna can" to. It has the classic tritium markers. The blue face makes it stand out. It was produced for five years, from 2001 to 2005 in series from D through H. The first 2 series had a lighter blue dial without silver around the markers. The last 2 series come on a rubber deployant bracelet. 2000 87's were produced in total (D-500; E-500; F-500; G-300; H-200). It of course followed the original LaBamba PAM 64 with the black face and white subdial of which 500 were produced. It and the Sly series are to me the classic Panerai watches.
