Response to How much do you pay for straps?

Before you start screaming, I'm saying that on a small scale... Handmade, one guy or girl at their desk, you can get really amazing stuff for not that much money.

I guess lack of overhead, middleman, etc.

So I think that some makers here produce amazing quality and the ability to customize with price point similar or less than oem.

I also have straps that were not expensive, like fifty to seventy bucks USD. And they're phenomenal.

Has to do with who and how they were made, again smaller Craftsman that are selling reasonably.

Marketing trains is that more expensive us better. And maybe that's true with mass made stuff, but allot of times we're paying for the cache of the brand and the assumptions that go with it.

I love being able to say that, "I found a guy/girl in .... That custom made this for me" when someone asks about a strap.

Makers, whatever your price point, keep it up, I appreciate it.
Mike...NYC. My collection so far is a 312 and some cool straps.
