Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away............................Scratch that!...
Here on planet Paneristi I was test driving (if thats the correct boating term) my new Wally tinny! (yeah I wish).
Meanwhile a storm was breaking, caused by the wind generated from a 'Lemon Tarts' night, epicenter Sydney Australia
Drat my boat sinks and I'm washed ashore, luckily I can build this dwelling from the wreck of the Wally
With me settled on the island....
Ship sinking: washed ashore, 10 items;
2 watches: Oh some many!
Well I'm sure my PZero would be on my wrist, and attached would be the trusty Ammo strap!
Just aside, this Zero is now four years old, wearing well. One of the first G series keeps excellent time and still looks as good as new!
Stowed in my hand language. Would be my workhouse Sunnto! Got to have something that can keep track of the daily statistics let alone time. Great value wrist top computer.
(Kids dont try this at home). These things are indestructible. I remember at GTG showing one of the guys, I threw it at the wall, hard! Just to prove the point. Indestructible.
2 songs:
The quest (impossible dream) Andy Williams.
Most here at Paneristi are on some kind of quest be it a watch, a strap the grail. Whatever it is, it comes with a lot of mate-ship. This song was used in a recent 'Honda' commercial campaign, either way this song cracks a smile when I hear it.

As others have said before, just two songs! Checking my Itunes I've many to choose from but in the spirit of the above its got to be the Eagles Hotel California .that line You can check out but you can never leave rings in my ears http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcwr1nbmWLI
1 book.
I read quite a lot for work, but Ive narrowed it down to a graphic novel that I really enjoyed back in the 90s. The Preacher. Its a series of novelettes and one of the craziest stories Ive ever read. I believe they have finally decided to make this into a film or TV series? Its about time, it mad!
1 movie
Another tough a one for me, so many favorites. Its true I saw The Matrix twelve times at the cinema and many more times on DVd but to pick one! Ill go with The Jungle book only because the soundtrack would keep my spirits high on the island.
1 photograph
There's something about this Steve McQueen picture. Its says to me 'Have fun, enjoy life ....be yourself'.
1 memory
Recently, its got to be my very close encounter with this fellow on a snowy mountain path in the Romanian. April 08 I was on a location scout when I got split from the main party (the call of nature). Five minutes behind the main group I was playing catch-up along a snowy path. I stopping to admire a frozen waterfall, I turned to see in front of me Charlie (This brown bear) My options limited I chose to run for it! He gave chase, I thought he had me at one point but somehow I'm still here to tell the tale!
1 meal
Pie and mash. You need to experience it to understand it! Yes, its very similar to the ones made by Sweeny Todd!
Thanks for looking Paddy for starting the thread and Gatsby for picking me.
Ill pick the next DID in the coming days

tough to keep the creative flow, errr, flowing, but you've put together a good entertaining read.the mash, and pie, look good, what's inside ?chicken ?
or something that tastes juuuust like chicken ?
I saw sweeney todd live on broadway, wow, what a great show!
That bear story ? hmmmm, quite a tale. did it stand up at all ? how tall was he ? looks like a big paw print.
glad you made it out of that ok.
Well, no one is really sure what's in them there pies ;-) ...

Its some kind of meat mince and the pastry is like nothing else
The Bear we later found out was a youngster about two years old regardless he was bigger than me. If he stood up he would have been about 2meters or over six foot.
I really didn't hang about but boy they move fast and it was only because I got near the road the we think the bear slowed down and I got away into the mini bus
because not only did you pick an awesome book (I was a big Vertigo reader myself back in the day, especially the early Hellblazers), but you somehow took a picture of the bear that was about to chase you! It looks like he/she's sliding down the hill as you're snapping the pic. Amazing!
- Turn right at the light, go straight into night, and then boys you're on your own...
