It was a very special time. Paddy, his wife, Eng, Sidekick ... and many more worked tirelessly for weeks and the effort showed. It was a great time for all.

Paddy started with a moving and emotional speech on the growth of the community from the grassroots to what it is today.

More importantly he thanked everyone involved for their participation and for the beauty of giving to those in need ... in giving you receive. He gave us reasons for self reflection and our social responsibility. Paddy, his wife, and Eng were superb hosts and it showed in the details. Have you ever heard a speech feeling moved and richer than before it? Listening to his thoughts opened my eyes and gave me a warm feeling of compassion and the need for communities like ours to help others, those less fortunate.

Aurelio also spoke on the importance of community...



Farhad had to get up high on a ladder to take a group picture. I look forward to seeing it.



Sorry, not a great picture, but you can feel the involvement, sense the feeling of togetherness, feel the warmth, see the smiles!





We headed to Arqua for a delicious dinner and many more interesting conversations...





The party went back to Eng's and continued. My wife and I had a wonderful time and thank the organizers for their graciousness... and we enjoyed meeting a lot of interesting and beautiful people.

It was a great time and thank you to all involved!
