As a proud owner of a Pam 195, I can tell you all of the "stuff" we buy during our live times, that there all only a few things that really have meaning to them, that are true keepers if you will. This exciting new pam looks to be a KEEPER IMHO....
Congrats to Paneristi.com for putting this wonderful and generous watch offering together. And a special THANK-YOU to Mr. Bonati and Panerai for giving this project their approval and support.
A special personal note: For all of those thinking of applying for this very special watch, and this is especially intended for all you heartless, thoughtless and money hungry flippers out there, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, for once in your scumbag lives, have a little heart and please don't send your names in.... There are FAR to many good Paneristi who want and deserve to own this watch who were maybe not around for the Pam 195's or lucky enough or couldn't afford a Pam 203, please don't muddle the mix by submitting your name if your sole intent is to flip this watch! Please, is that really so very much to ask?
And for those inquiring minds who question my position on this, NO, I will NOT be submitting my name for this watch. I am very very lucky to own and I highly treasure my Pam 195 and my Pam 203. There are so many of us that want to buy and keep this watch. People who would only sell it under the worst of financial circumstances.
Perhaps the Mods can post the list of owners with the watch number, so the community can see who the flippers are???
Not sure if somethign like that is viable, I just know that those of us who don't get chosen to get one are going to be sad to see the sell listing in the CM a couple of days after they are delivered, likely at a huge mark-up.

That's all i'll say because I don't want to take a turn to negative town here, i'm on top of the world right now!!!! Fantastic job again to everyone involved, I feel like Panerai really gave us the whole deal on this watch, and just the special meaning behind it is just an added kicker, Paneristi, M8s, Community, BBQ all wrapped up into a beautiful pre-v style, PVD, Patina'd beauty!

And a big thank you to the MOD Team (and Arif) that have been working behind the scenes to help make the PAM 360 happen.
Whether I get one or not (but man, I sure do hope I get one) doesn't take away from what is really happening here. It is quite an honor to be part of a community where the company we represent takes the time to show us their appreciation....in this manner (could it get any better?? I think NOT!). It doesn't take long to understand what a Big Deal this really is.
As far as the design goes .... well, I would have to say it's perfect in every way. The PVD, the patina'd numbers, the case back .... WOW!! What a looker!!
I can't even imagine how I would feel looking down at my wrist and seeing THAT!!!

Great post Eddie! I couldn't agree more. I can't afford the watch right now but feel touched that Panerai cared enough about our community that they put this together. Even though I won't have this on my wrist - I feel like if it is on the wrist of a brother/sister - then it is still a gift to me.
I think that the effort and time put into this watch is what this site is all about. And like yourself even if I don't get one the presence of it's existance is exciting and has meaning to all who share this website.

allthough only lurking for me, paneristi is the only site i visit every day. you guys don't know how much you mean to all of us out there who really enjoy reading all your posts.
throughout the years I've lived along with you, read your stories and laughed an cried when your stories touched me.
Hammer I remember the morning when I turned on my computer and read the terrible news about your accident, during the rest of the day, your friends kept us posted about your condition. During the next days, weeks and months and eventually years you have been an inspiration to many more people than you probably realise. It's good seeing that one's live can dramatically change but the core stays intact. Respect for that.
Speaking for myself being a one-watch person (I've saved long and hard to buy my 177, about 7 years after first seeing a panerai and instantly falling in love with it) who's not able to do a lot of exciting and mentionable things :
I love coming to paneristi and reading about the porsche rallys / motor trips or seeing brads photo's or travelling along with nad or seeing all the stuff that ride used to be doing or living the life haagen has (best job in the world !) !!
so thank you guys for being my idols, paneristi rules !

An excellent idea in my opinion. This is one that should NOT be for flippers, and as a community, we do have some control of what people can and can't do on this site. For this one - if you sell, you sell at original cost or less! (Though why would you? For me, if I'm lucky enough, it will be with me for ever).

I'm proud of my K0001/1300 Panerai 000. Having the number one watch is in it's own right extremely special to me as a Paneristi and brother in the madness we share. Wow!!! That is a great looking watch. It just goes to show how great a community like this is. I glad to be a member. Thanks guys and let me be the first to say congrats to those who get a chance to own one. Wear them well.
As a lurker since 2004 who has only posted a few times, it still amazes me how generous and incredible this community is! Shame on me for being so shy and not getting to know you wonderful people more.....I need to make a new New Years resolution! Hammer, you are Sooooooo awesome and awe inspiring to me. It has usually been a post involving your tenacity and courage that has always moved me to add a small posting. As a previous lurker who promises to mend my ways and attempt to do my part in the community here, I would hope I too could register in the pool of hopes in getting this watch.
Thank you all in this wonderful community. I have learned more then I can remember about Panerai.....and feel like I have vicariously gotten to know several of you. I hope to be more of a part of the community from now on. Thank you to all involved in making such an awesome watch available.

Huge congratulations and thanks to all of those who made this watch possible! And a big thank you to everyone at Panerai for continuing to support this truly special community. I semi-recently obtained a very special watch, and this one would just be sweet icing on the cake. Whether or not I'm lucky enough to get one, it's nice to know that the spirit and passion we share for this brand and for this community will forever be enshrined in this magnificent piece.

So, hopefully i will be one of the 300 lucky people who will get a chance to get this lovely watch.
and even better gesture. I hope there are more than 300 available. If anything, hope they can go by the annual roll call. Fantastic work to everyone that made this happen. This is one watch that will never be sold.

I'm an occasional poster but daily reader since 2005 and Paneristi.com is responsible for giving me the PAM virus! I was a student at that time and I suffered a lot before buying a 210 with my first salary
What is great is that this project will allow each paneristi to get a chance to admire the TRUE logo dial daily without (or almost) heavy financial consideration!
Once again congrats to Panerai and all the team who made this happen!

Wow--what a response, what a great project and what an effort and example of teamwork by all that had a hand in this.
Never thought, never even DREAMED that I'd still be posting on this forum TEN years later.
Never imagined a watch resource/forum would morph into a community.
NEVER knew that a community could pull together in so many ways, so many times to show the absolute best aspects of human nature, sharing, caring and fellowship.
I'm in awe of what Paneristi has come to represent, and this watch, this effort represents all of that.
Fantastic intro by a top bloke, to what is one of the nicest PAM models i've ever seen and to top it off - in celebration of what is the best online forum (not just watch forum) ever!
Kudos to Panerai and all those involved - the PAM 360 is stunning!
That is unbelievable! The watch itself looks unbelievable but the sentiments attached to its creation and excusion are even more amazing! Kudos to Panerai and Paneristi for making this a reality!!!

If anyone wants to sell theirs they cannot sell it on the forum for more than the original price. It would be shame for the more unscrupulous members to stock pile these prized pieces just to flip. This watch is not about profiteering!

BUT what makes it over the top is that all of the people who made this happen had the wisdom to have our best 'Risti do the announcement as only he can do!! I know it can be copied off the computer, but wouldn't it me REALLY special to have a printed copy of this announcement delivered to the fortunate few-signed by Alan. That would top perfect!!

p.s. the pictured strap on this watch is just plain cool -- finally, an OEM strap that actually gives a nod to all of the wonderful 3rd party straps that most Ristis wear with pride. This looks to be one of the thickest straps Panerai has ever produced, and the color makes both the patina of the dial and pvd case pop!

The PAM360 is truly a thing of beauty. Everyone involved should be incredibly proud of this accomplishment. This site, this community, is very unique and special on so many levels. This watch brings it all together - "full circle".

Though an avid reader, I am not a poster. I guess I over analyze the value a post with my level of expertise can add to the community. However, this accomplishment elucidates the value of community in itself. A group of people passionate about any cause; can create something real and lasting. You all have done that I believe. Excellent example of all the best things Panerai. Excellent piece borne in an authentic spirit.
