Not convinced by this year's collection I have to say.

The 399 is a beaut, but 100 pieces?!

And the 449 is also nice - but wish it didnt have blue hands.

The real danger for me in the past has been to be swayed by others opinion and give something the benefit of the doubt. I always go back to my first instincts in the end.

Because Panerai has so many iconic brilliant designs its not so bad to say this watch should have never made it past the first sketches.

make up your mind without seeing them in person. Then, as a Senior citizen, EVERYTHING takes me longer... :O)))

This PAM 423 is a beauty and I consider it superior to the 422. Love to have the power reserve on the front like most fine time pieces do rather than on the back as in the other 422. Other than that, 47mm looks amazing, manual winding is sweet, and seeing through the back glass is a pleasure.

Panerai watch designers are simply geniuses and hit a homerun with this one!
