I have eventually a problem (in a good way) I thought I would probably never have.

I was always a 44mm Luminor guy. I know some were saying that if you wear a 47mm you will never wear a 44mm again etc.. I have tried most of the 47mm Luminor Pams out there and none was looking good on my wrist.. 127, 305, etc.. at least to my eyes/personal opinion....

'Unfortunately' my new 372 is nothing like the other 47 Pams.. The case, the thickness and the lugs makes it perfect to wear and feels like something in between.

Only problem is that now I cannot wear my 44mm.. They feel small.. I am wearing my 372 for almost a month now with the only exception of the 360 at New Years Eve (I wanted to wear something more special).... and because I know what you will say.. NO I cannot send them to you to wear them. :P

SO I eventually have the common problem because of this beauty... and I hope that it will only be the novelty of a new watch...

fortunately my wrists are small

January 20 2012, 5:49 PM

so even I can wear well the 47s and I really like the look...I have to admit that 44mm case look more balanced on my wrist. Ive been wearing 24/7 the 372 for the last 2 weeks, and today Im wearing my 88, and I love how sits in my wrist.

LOVE the massive and retro look of the 47mm, but also like the balance of a 44mm case...which, on the other side, is not small at all.

So Im OK...changing from one to the other.

I can't go down to 40mm for example. Cant have a

My 26K gets virtually no wrist time, and I love it.
Definitely a good problem to have.

Not true...

I like the cashmere (fiddy strap) a lot.. I think it's the best OEM by far. I also like the black buffalo and the assolutamente is nice.
Unfortunately they are too short for my taste but nevertheless nice straps especially the cashmere!!

Congrats on your 47mm! I saw it in person and it is a beauty!
The strap it comes with is very nice as well - almost looks cordovan.

Take care mate!

Suggestion!

January 20 2012, 9:03 PM

Hey Kostas,

Why don't you "punish" yourself and dig through your watch box and wear a 40mm or dare i say it...even smaller watch for a day!
Heck if need be bolt on one of your wife's watches! You'll surely find something to wear.

No cheating keep it on it's for your own good! Next day bolt on your 44mm Panerai and I promise you it won't feel "small". happy.gif

Cheers,

Val

The strap you see in th photo is a genuine vintage Panerai strap from an instrument

January 20 2012, 9:46 PM

I have received many emails about this strap. It is not one of mine as I wouldn't shill my own stuff in the Public forum.
