64C, since everyone is suggesting the latest and hottest.
I much prefer 44mm for everyday over 47mm. and besides no sub can beat the original TUNA CAN!
My second would be the 202/225 and third would be the 243 or 194, just my 0.02
There aren't too many PAM subs that didn't appeal to me, but I can say I've never considered purchasing either the 64 and 285. I just happen to think the 87 kicks the tail off the 64 and the 194 does the same thing to the 285. Of course your mileage may vary and it's nice to have choices.
I have owned the 24A, 87, 106, 170, 187, 243 and 305 so I have a bit of experience with these. Been on the lookout for a complete 25A for a long time but never scratched that itch, and would probably jump at the chance to get a 87D or E with clean T hands and dial.
I believe that a submersible to qualify as the "best" should have at least a 1000m depth capability. That rules out for me the 382 with 300m, although a great watch and otherwise one of the top selections. I personally prefer the 47mm case, and believe that scarcity is important. That leads me to either the 358 (the only destro sub) or the 202/225 (with a personal preference for the black dial of the 202). So for me it comes down to a choice between the 358 or the 202. Since there were only 100 of the 358, and the only destro that is my choice. None are bad, and if the choice had to be a 44mm I would pick the 64.
