Convert to brushed metal?

I really like the look of the titanium watches, but don't really care for the metal itself. Has anyone "converted" the polished metal (bezel etc) to a brushed metal look? I'm curious if this is doable at all and if there might be someone who offers it as a service...

As far as I'm aware, there are no titanium watches with a polished finish. However........

a few years back, I had the bezel of my 162 brushed, and you might be interested to see the result below. I took it to a specialist watch repair centre in London - best £50 I ever spent IMHO.

That's really nice!

And pretty much what I was looking for. Maybe I'll give that a try; I assume scotchbrite isn't hard enough to be able to damage the crystal?
