I have been thinking of getting a vintage 74 strap, but do not know if I really could live with the 74 number there,



I then took an old low budget strap and scruffed it up with sanding paper and did som cuts into it...

Then I took an soildering iron and burned in the markings and put 76 instead of 74 (as my birth year is 1976) unfortunatly the marking look like they have been done with an marker but that might be because the strap is like velvet sort...





What do you think????

Kudos on being crafty, but imho it looks very homemade.

I'm waiting on a 74 strap myself that I ordered a few weeks ago. Like you I changed the 74 to a "77" for my birth year and my PAM 177.

Not a fan of straps with writing on them sharpies/markers or otherwise

I have a 74 strap that I had made with out the '74' printed on it.... I don't really wear it as it is too thick for me. If you want it let me know.....
