Whenever I buy a Panerai I never use the straps it comes with as I always go after market, however the straps with the 372 are really nice.
Anyone using them and got an opinion of them long term!

The gold vintage calf strap on my 372 an awful lot. Cracking OEM strap IMO
They are too short for my taste.

But have to admit that they both are really nice straps. Too bad Panerai does not give us the option to select the length of the straps from the beginning...
Well, who will think people will need 175/100mm straps ^ ^

I use the calf gold too, really nice strap, lovely & soft. Would love a 24/22 for my 176 but don't think they do one?
Could do with being an inch or so longer though, second keeper seems a bit redundant.

But eventally went aftermarket. Just like to dress it up differently every now and then. But I agree in that the OEM's are nice as well.
I'm using the darker one...

...but just switched to an ammo I have. I'm looking forward to an ammo pouch strap I have on order too. I like the darker strap (haven't used the gold one yet), but part of the darker stain peeled off in one section and I'm considering exchanging it. While I like an naturally-aged strap, this scratch left a chipped-like area that shows how thin the staining is. Kind of cheap looking and not in sync with the watch, IMO.
Yes, personally I like OEM. Use both regularly and bought a black one too (nt)

The one that came on the watch (dark reddish brown) was just a bit stiff and I was not impressed with the quality. The spare one, which was a light brown/tan, was exquisitely soft and I kinda regret getting rid of it. That being said, like yourself I usually go aftermarket.
