to all watches I've seen so far and all my A/B series ones ( even later ones too), this tube should be rounded, as on your 36B, not hexagonal.
As my knowledge is limited, so is my judgement -- it's a good chance for the experts to help
For sure, Hexagonal tubes came in much later.
If it's case replacement, this watch has a story to tell, better it be well documented. If not, I'd avoid it in the absence of better info
check also the movement, and take pics of more views of crown guard, lugs, lever...
