Just living the dream waiting for the next PAM

All the way from an 8 seed to raising the Cup! The 5 min game misconduct in the 1st period was the turning point. NJ battled their butts off too

and currently live in the greater Phoenix area (and therefore am also a Coyote fan), I have to admit the Kings deserved the cup after pretty much destroying anyone who came into their path.

I think there will be newfound fear (and respect) for number 8 teams!

I used to go watch Gretzky and the old Kings fight for that trophy, then things died out for a while...
KINGS ARE BACK! or so we hope ) Still ways to go to get back to the old popularity of the team and the sport in LA, but that is a great start!

....45 years, hoping it's not another 45 years, otherwise I'll be dead and gone (Also hopefully by then the local TV stations will get their act together by then and actually SHOW ALL THE GAMES of the series!!!)

Maybe we can get finally get some respect as a hockey town now, long overdue!

Because LA is not a hockey town. It's a town with a Stanley Cup champion and fairweather fans.

But, yes, congrats to the champs.
The Kings were a team of destiny and I would say any other matchup the Devils would be hoisting the cup!
