Is it worth the trade?

How sought after is the 217 compared to the 127 and would you trade a 372, 312 and 176 against a 217? I know 3 for one isn't really a good deal on the face of it, but the 217 is a stunning watch a quite rare, so I thought it was worth consideration.

please read rules above regarding values.

thanks,

Ian

You have a great selection there and apart from a Rad have all angles covered. 312 auto, go anywhere, anytime modern PAM. 372 historic DNA and 176 Ti base.

I know the 217 is MM and SE but I'm not really in to destro watches anyway. Stick with what you have and be happy.

If your not happy then you might have to sell them all and start again.

Rad

I'm just having a thing about the 127 and 217 at the moment, but I'm very much like what I have too...

I also have a 292 as well which is probably my favorite piece and wouldn't trade.

Ian, I wouldn't.

The 127 & 217 are great pieces but don't represent great value. If you enjoy your rad so much how about a historic rad or a 323 if you fancy modern.

I have a 352 and 372(modern Ti and vintage DNA), I love both of them. I sold my 112 as it didn't get wrist time and I'll get a 47mm rad when I find the one I want.

Good luck with you choice.

232

thanks for the advise.

I missed out on a pre-owned 232 a few years back which I always regret, so I've been thinking about the 425 later this yearn or holding out for another 232 to come along, but they don't seem to be great value either. I'm hoping 2013 brings some nice 47mm Rads with maybe a reintroduction of a 232 or maybe a standard production 1940's rad.

Nah

As a 217 owner, I agree it's a great watch happy.gif. But 3 respectable PAMs? Not sure I would trade all that versatility. Although the board does not allow value discussions, you may wish to consider whether that trade is advantageous as compared with selling the watches and buying a 217 for cash. Good luck!

Love both the 217 and the Fiddy but think 3 is too much to give up...

...but at the end of the day only you can decide, if your other 3 arent getting wrist time, then why not?

Thanks for the advice... think I'm going to let the 312 go and start saving for a 217 or 127. The 372 and 176 are just too good to let them go. The 176 was on my wrist today and reminded me just how nice it is.
