Does anyone have recommendations for cashmere straps for a 312? I can't seem to find any makers other than OEM.

It originated with the PAM 127 I believe. If you want a "cashmere" strap then it would be an OEM.

There may be some strap makers who use a similar hide. As I recall the original Ferretti straps were a similar color.

Uses a leather he refers to as "cashmere calf" on the SXM-011 "Maiale." Not sure if that's what it is or what he calls it, but it's the only other one I know of other than what's been mentioned.
