To me, it means putting differences aside, making a valid attempt to get along, and putting others first.

Maybe I am wrong on this.

The warm welcome I received when I got here shaped the way I feel about Panerai. I hope that continues even though us "new guys" don't have the knowledge base that the ranking members do. We all had to learn it at some point in our lives and I'm grateful for all the help I've received and the people that I've met. ...would be a shame if that door closed.

Seriously Stephen, we've broken bread together, I know you're a solid risti. This community has grown so large that some strife and S-talking is inevitable, unfortunately I sink to that level sometimes too, it's hard not to... though I like to think I'm more... selective... now than I used to be Take the good for what it is and leave the trash at the curb, none of it is worth losing sleep over!

I don't post here that often, but, I am on the site constantly. I try to read everything. I hate seeing posts like this, and wonder what spurs it, because I assume some of it is out of the public view...I think that this is a great community, and I have gotten great advice from different people, Nad, Nacho M, Micah, Martin W., all have weighed in on my prospective purchases, and given me great advice...I ask a quick question by email sometimes and they get back to me right away. People seem to be really great, so I find it a little disheartening to find negativity on a site that is supposed to be an escape and be for enjoyment. But, the internet does give some people license to be rude, egomaniacal, etc. and that is too bad. But, the good thing seems to be that there is mostly a positive vibe here...and so long as there is...chalk the negativity up to that person having the issue and/or problem.

Moreover, a community like our family, is not made up of concrete infrastructures. It is made up of people with passion and the heart to look out for each other, care for each other and help each other too.
Just take it easy and life will be more pleasant, cheers
