Ok I've decided 47 mm is probably too big 44 mm is just right...so I'm down to 312, 111, 112, a silver dial 27 or 390 just not sure about the brown dial...what do you guys think???? Auto or manual doesn't matter I like both...

They are all great pieces. Something about that 50's case with the sandwich dial and in house motor just screams classic Panerai though! My vote would be the 312.

The 390 wins easily, gold hands, creamy modern patina numbers, brown face that changes mood depending on the light, pig on reverse and SE.

Just my opinion though.

i have compared many of the above side by side, and the 312 was a clear winner...

There's nothing not to love about the 312!
