Hi gd day to all, recently encounter this rough feeling when wanna set time for my pam 312. As we know when setting e time as we turn e crown, it shld gif u a smooth feeling as e needle moves.

However instead wat I gt was a kind of rough feel as though e crown is still stuck at e date setting position, as I wind e crown it gif me a tiak tiak feeling as e needle moves, but as I cont to turn e crown, e rough tiak tiak feeling is gone n e needle back to smooth turning again. Its happen everytime nw whenever I wanna set e time.

Can check any bros here encounter this on their pam b4? Izit anything to worry abt?

I'm not an expert, nor do I have 312, however >>>>

....what you are describing does not sound normal.

You are correct that the hands should move freely in the last crown position to set the time.

I cannot imagine what might be wrong.

is there a local shop with a good watchmaker that could at least take a look at it for you, just to determine what the problem is?

In fact, if you are still under warranty, it would be best to send it in for the experts to take a look at.

Good luck!
