hi I have a PAM 308 regatta, the previous owner had it converted from manual to automatic. anyone had experience in this - can it be reversed ?

by dropping it on a floor and knocking the rotor off the movement. I wasn't happy with that modification.
Ive never heard if such a thing....

I hope you paid accordingly. I'm sure it can be reversed but what damage with remain to the movement? That's very strange....love to see some pics.

if it was indeed the case, it could not have been done officially, Panerai does not do modifications like this.

Send the bloody thing to the PASC in Dallas for a cleaning....they will INSIST on restoring the thing to its original factory spec before they work on it!
