Always had a "thing" for dive watches. Owned more than I will admit in writing(wife may read). Introduced to the brand in 2007 and it has taken over. Started to move my collection to fund more of the "addiction"...

Here are my top three:

1. Simplicity of design.
2. Fits perfectly on my wrist, does not roll around.
3. Ability to change the look with a simple strap change.

It goes without saying: I've had lots of watches to over the years but have never had a community like this to learn from and connect with on so many levels...about 1/2 of what I learn is about watches and the other half is about care and community. It goes so far beyond the pieces in my watch case that I'm humbled to be a small part of it.

1-. Panerai Its someway linked to a certain history. Im saying true history. Not something that a Marketing dpt. builds around a brand. All my actual watches share this point. I feel attracted knowing that I dont own only things, but some kind of "tools¨, that have some functionality, or were made to do certain thing.
Not just "a watch".

2-. Love the look. Loved it much more when the Panerai look was "unique". Simple, clean, tough, and big. These are not only related anymore only with Panerai, but I still like the look a lot.
At certain point a Panerai was a watch for real aficionados, as very few people know abut the brand. So it was very little "show off" some time ago. Not anymore sadly.

3-. Most importan thing to keep this attraction moving is the people you meet around the same "like". This is the real reason that makes to stay or even be more linked/attached to Panerai. And this is not only related with Panerai. All our hobbies, likes, ...will stay if the people you deal is worth.
