Apologies if this topic has already been discussed : )

Does anyone think that we will see a standard (Bettarini) Luminor case with an in-house movement, e.g the P.999 or even a new calibre? Or perhaps Panerai will continue to use ETA movements, assuming that the supply continues

Personally, I would love to see a "111" with a 3 day in-house manual wind movement and quick-change strap system

I think it's inevitable....

I mean it's natural progression of the brand and the direction they have been going in for years. They have been fading on the ETA pieces and will most likely cut the rest soon. I wonder if they will simply just change the movements or release all new models to replace them....only time will tell.

Its only the beginning >>>

Soon the historic collection will be only available as SEs with ETA movements. Then they'll be highly sought after and soon after flipped for premium bucks.

Whereas the PAMs with in-house movements will be the new historic line and be released in regular production. wink.gif

Ask J-F, he's the oracle when it comes to Panerai. happy.gif

It was he who said "47 is the new 44"! wink.gif

Cheers and speculating wink.gif
