I'm thinking this will look very cool on the new 372.

372 is all about history, I don't see it on a croc strap. I'm sure it would look nice and all, but a bit of an anachronism to my way of thinking.

Certainly it's not "historic" but I think the 372 looks muy bueno on alligator...





And you and I have similar (if not identical ) tastes in straps and strapmakers....GO FOR IT!!!

I love honey brown colored gator straps on black dial watches. Something about the contrast really works for me. Honestly, I think the 372 is sort of the Panerai "Speedmaster" - the watch that will look great on just about any strap. Its that beautiful.

Speaking of which, looks like you've got a similar strap on that 233...

The beauty of the 372 is it looks good on almost anything. To be honest, I can't recall seeing a strap that ruined the watch for me.
