Does anyone know where I can buy the wax that is used on the side of aftermarket straps? I believe this is the same wax they put on the edge of wallets. I have a wallet that could use a bit more wax on it (currently cracking). Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Not just waxing (as far as I know) >>

but also heat sealing it into the leather and buffing.

Waxes tend to be color coded and created by most of the manufactures themselves.

Maybe a mix of bee's wax and Carnuba with color dyes.

Could be easier to buy Angelus Leather Paint for touch ups

You can melt some bees wax,, and add some colored crayons,, or simply rub away with a colored candle,, polish it up,, burnish it in with an old piece of denim,,,

Edge cote cracks and wax not so much.

Edge cote is applied then set with a burnishing iron. Sometimes followed by a thin even coat of beeswax. Many after market straps have a coat of beeswax or burnished edges and beeswax.

Feel free to message me if you additional questions. Happy to help.
