Hello all

Very similar in dial layout but that is where the similarities end.... I am fortunate to own both
But if I had to pick .... I would actually take the 390!!! I think the size and dial color hands combo
Look absolutely terrific. To date .... I have not seen good photos of the 390 online it's true beauty
Has to be appreciated in the flesh ..... so am I alone in picking the 390 over the 372??? I tend to
Wear the 390 a bit more ..... in fact lol for the last 4 years I have been keeping a tally of which watch I
Wear each day ..... this is craziness started 4 years ago... in 2013 and I have not missed a single day...

Here is the breakdown by year

Year 2013.. Pam 390 worn a total of 85 days during the year
Pam 372 worn a total of 68 days during the year

Year 2014....... Pam 390 worn a total of 52 days during the year
Pam 372 worn a total of 55 days during the year

Year 2015..... Pam 390 worn a total of 49 days during the year
Pam 372 worn a total of 38 days during the year

Year 2016.... Pam 390 worn a total of 39 days during the year
Pam 372 worn a total of 47 days during the year

Year 2017 ..... Pam 390 worn a total of 29 days this year so far
Pam 372 worn a total of 26 days this year so far

Would like to hear what others think....390 vs 372... if you think
I am nuts for keeping track of which watch I wear your right 😊

It is kind of crazy to track...

But it's a lot of fun for us to see so thanks for sharing.

I am with you, 390 is better in a number of ways. First and foremost, it's more wearable in 44mm. It's more unique with the dial color. It's also more rare in production. In general I think the Bettarini case is more understated, which I am coming to appreciate more as well.

Nothing wrong with the 372 by any means, but to me the 390 is a better all around choice if you HAD to pick one.

now we're tracking daily wear patterns.

was going to remind you there were 365 days in a year and that your numbers were off - then i saw you cheated and threw on some rolexes, etc.

i question your loyalty!

great post.
Mike...NYC. My collection so far is a 312 and some cool straps.

for me, it's the 372 over 390

I am also fortunate to have a 390 and a 372. The 372 is new for me (since April), so it is still in the honeymoon period. I think the 372 may be my favorite of my Panerai. The 372 is almost perfect (would prefer no fauxtina).

Not really sure what it is about the 390, but it doesn't call for me to wear it as much as my other Panerai. Maybe I need to try some new strap combos.

The real trend ...

September 2 2017, 4:44 AM

Here is that fact that the number of days you wore the 390 has been decreasing by year. I'll take it from you. 😂😂😂 Also it not nice to talk about how much you love a watch with out a wrist shot. Someone ban this guy 😜😜😜

390 FTW!

I always suggest the 390 when someone wants a smaller 372. The 372 does have an engraved dial... that is cool. Brown dial and gold hands are a great panerai pairing; but typically with Ti; not Stainless. Great watch... should be sapphire case back... to minimize fakes.
