During the world War, the Italians felt threatened by the British war ships.
A plan was to sabotage and crippled their naval power.
The Italian navy gathered the elites.
The young Italian was called up and so he packed his diving equipment ( OK what else I need...).
He left home during the wee hours and reached the naval base ( ferry point).
It was calm, the enemies were unaware ( beautiful morning).
The commandos were preparing to gear up for their mission ( getting ready, could hardly wait).
The pig for the mission (our ferry).
Checked and ready.
Quietly dive into water without being spotted
Mission to be properly coordinated, with instruments made by Panerai.
Panerai added the crown guard for better water resistance. 8 days manual wind so as to avoid winding during water operations.
The watches also had to be well illuminated and clear to be seen in the murky waters (reaching the sea bed).
The lume was so bright that the commandos sometimes had to cover it with mud ( soft sand was being kicked up carelessly).
Time checked, mission ready to be launched (hmmm, still looks clear with only 3m visibility).
Torpedo Timer started ( oxygen level checked)
Mission accomplished and awarded the greatest honor
Sorry for lengthy bull*hit
Honestly, water visibility at 3m was really bad that I lost my team twice.
How did the naval commandos carried out their mission in the dark with just compass?? My deepest respect.
