Here is what you need then. Custom spring bars designed to replace the screw bar and tubes in your strap. These are designed to make your life easier when changing a strap out. No special tools needed, you can use a toothpick with these to swap out a strap.
I have these in 24mm and 26mm, they are 2.5mm thick with a screw slot at one end and a narrow pin on the other. These will fit securely and flush into your lugs. I have been using these for several years and have not done any damage to the threads of any of the watches they have been in.
